Cows like to be cuddled

The fresh study involved 11 volunteers and a pair of Holstein cows. After three quarters of an hour of socialising, the cows responded positively to treats and hugs. It turned out, however, that the cows liked being hugged by women more than by men. This may be due to the fact that females were more emotionally open during the experiment, while males showed restraint.
