An international team of scientists from the University of Carthin has found that the process of water cycling between the hydro- and lithosphere started more than 4 billion years ago.
This is of great importance both for understanding how the Earth was formed and for clarifying all the critical conditions for the emergence of life. These conditions thus emerged just 600 million years after the birth of the planet.
