AI technologies are not optimised, they simply haven’t had the time to be brought up to speed due to the demands of getting the next piece of software to market as quickly as possible. As a result, without internet connectivity and powerful servers, they are of little use. This means that privacy is becoming an empty word, and the concept of the Internet of Things is degenerating into something unattractive that consumes huge resources but can no longer be of use to people.
