Due to climate change, mosquitoes carrying malaria and dengue are spreading in Europe

These diseases used to be mainly found in tropical and subtropical regions because low temperatures kill insect larvae and eggs, but climate change is increasing the length of hot spells during which dangerous mosquitoes can breed.
